What a wonderful Mother’s Day experience Sage Oak of Denton gave their residents. This is an example of how their residents are recognized, pampered and cared for. Denton is lucky to have a top tier “boutique feel” Assisted Living right in our backyard.

Sage Oak of Denton has been home for my husband for 2 and a half years. The care he has received has been very positive, and I cannot say enough about how thankful I am that he is so well cared for! My husband has been a resident at Sage Oak Denton for 3 plus years now. The place continues to amaze me! The recent Mother’s Day buffet was yet another special opportunity to share time with our loved ones. Every time a family event is offered, the food is always superbly presented, and I think it can’t get any better. Well, Chef Larry and his team of chefs proved me wrong again! The creative presentations and delicious food is just outstanding!!! These guys and ladies are the best!!!

My mother moved to Sage Oak about three years ago after a bad experience with another assisted living. Over the years, the staff has been very helpful and kind. I live over 4.5 hours away and have struggled with moving my mother closer to me; however, I know that my mother will not receive the care that she receives at Sage Oak if I move her to a facility closer to me. Recently, my mother was in the hospital for 3 days and Mitchell Rodriguez, one of the directors, visited my mom on several occasions and brought personal items to make her more comfortable. This meant a lot to me because I could not get there. When she was released, Mitchell and his team worked very diligently to make sure my mother’s new bed was setup and ready for my mom; making her transition easy for her. It is never easy placing your loved ones in a facility, but Sage Oaks Boutique helps me to feel better about my decision.

We are incredibly thankful for Sage Oak of Denton. From day one, the caregivers have treated my dad like family, showing genuine kindness, patience, and compassion, and extending that same care to our family as well. The caretakers and staff are attentive to individual needs, intentional with personal care, and very responsive. Every visit, we are greeted with warm smiles, and the residents are happy, engaged, and clearly well cared for. A special thank you to Dee, who has been such a blessing. She took the time to truly get to know my dad, and the way she connects with him has made a noticeable difference in how he responds and engages. We are also grateful for the Director of Nursing, Kristina, who is proactive, responsive, and consistently goes above and beyond by answering questions, sending updates, and supporting my dad’s well being. The community truly feels like home. The house is clean, warm, and thoughtfully designed to foster connection among residents. Rooms are always well kept, the chef-prepared meals are excellent, and the daily activities are purposeful and engaging. The heart, teamwork, and dedication at Sage Oak of Denton have brought our family great peace of mind. Thank you!!

Sage Oak has been a wonderful experience for my mom. The staff are kind, caring and very responsive to suggestions. Whenever I go to visit she is always well taken care of. She came to Sage Oak anxious and depressed. She is now relaxed and contented. She is forming relationships with the other residents and the staff. I have no complaints about Sage Oak. I would recommend Sage Oaks to families looking for an AL for their loved one.

I looked at every AL facility in Denton, several in Frisco and Little Elm and Sage Oak is just brilliant! The model of care is amazing and the way they have their homes set up is just like going home to my house. I love spending time here with my family and the other residents. I look forward to a long healthy stay for my Dad. Thank you all for what you do!
Edit: We are about 4 months into a dad’s stay at Sage Oak and I cannot stress enough show amazing this place is! I do not exaggerate that they have literally saved his life since he had been here. They really care about their residents and noticed dad spiked a fever because they were checking on him hourly just because. Turned out he was septic and if they had not checked on him, previously experienced at other facilities after he was in bed, he would not be here today. My dad would have died right before Christmas. I have referred many friends and family and strangers to Sage Oak and will continue to sing their praises. Dad told me before we moved he wanted a home. He wanted to feel grounded and settled again since we started the assisted living journey 6 yrs ago. He told me the other day he wanted to go home. I asked him if he meant Sage Oak and he said “yeah! I miss my friends and the food and the good care.” <3
Edit 7/2025: Once again 2 yrs in and Sage Oak staff has saved Dad. This place is the most remarkable assisted living facility in north Texas! I can’t thank you all enough for taking care of Dad the way you do. If he’d been left to just go to bed last night he very well might not have been here today. Love you all like family because that’s how you treat us. Appreciate you all.

Sage Oak of Denton took excellent care of my loved one. They communicated well with family. They were very attentive and loving. There were even staff at the hospital, which went above and beyond! The atmosphere is pleasant and the other residents all had positive things to say about their experiences living there. The food is exceptional and the chefs are engaging. There seems to be intentionality in the hiring process. Those with “hands on” really care about providing excellent care. They seem to feel supported by the administration. Be sure to give Sage Oak a thorough look!

We moved my mother to Sage Oak in Denton about two months ago and my family and I are so pleased by the level of care and attention my mother has received. All of the staff have been friendly and helpful to my mothers needs as well as to our requests and any questions that we might have. Mom is finally happy and is making friends. The food is so fantastic that my sister and I joked that we should move there. I cant state what a wonderful experience this move to Sage Oak has been to my mother and our family.

The staff at sage oak are extremely incredible. They treat the residents like family. The facility is very clean and up to par. There was one young lady that stood out to me, I think her name was Diamond. I truly can see that she loves her job and has a passion for making sure the residents are comfortable and loved. Thank you for taking care of my grandmother. This is the best assisted living facility.

Our experience with mom at Sage Oak has been very positive. They accommodated special requests. The food is wonderful with a great chef cooking in front of residents. Good activities and staff members are always positive and helpful. Sam was a great help in fixing mom’s room to her liking and keeping the temperature to her preference.

We had an amazing time at the Sage Oak Thanksgiving dinner. My dad, Lindy, was so happy to have all three of his children in attendance. He proudly introduced us to all employees and residents who came by our table. It was sooooo great you guys did this for them. Sage Oak has been sooooo good for my dad. And, KUDOS to Chef Larry and all who made this event possible!!!

We recently relocated my mother to Sage Oak of Denton from a different assisted living facility in Denton. What a difference! The staff at Sage Oak are friendly, compassionate, and happy. They treat the residents with respect and courtesy. The facility is kept extremely clean. The meals are on a whole other level. The chefs create delicious meals presented in gourmet style. Yesterday we had the opportunity to join other residents and their families for a Thanksgiving feast. The food was amazing and the fellowship of families was extra special. Thank you Sage Oak for providing a wonderful place to trust our family to live in.

Sage Oak in Denton has been a Godsend for our family. We were a family in crisis looking for a new assisted living residence that would accept our elderly mother post-surgery, as we were told she could not return to her prior residence because she now required care beyond what they “could” provide. A social worker referred us to Sage Oak, as she knew they had the quality of staff to care for our mother in a more intimate environment. We moved our mother’s belongings out of the “Big Box” assisted living (nearly 100 residents) to Sage Oak (1:5 – 1:8 caregiver to resident ratio) which calls itself a Boutique community. Mom has been at Sage Oak for a couple of weeks. She is happy and thriving. Sage Oak has demonstrated to our family that they invest in the well-being of their residents over their corporate gain. The administrative staff, caregivers, chefs and everyone at Sage Oak we now consider members of our own family. Together, we continue to provide loving care for Mom.

Sage Oak of Denton was an amazing place and perfect fit for my Dad. The staff were amazing, the food was amazing, the activities were amazing. Overall, I would say Sage Oak helped my Dad have a happier life, he no longer felt isolated and enjoyed being with the other residents and staff. Sage Oak is extremely clean, bright and cheerful. They were incredibly kind to all of us, and the other residents felt like family. After spending time with a senior living consultant and touring several places (both facility and in-home type) we found Sage Oak of Denton. The smaller house concept, which enables lower patient-to-nurse ratios, paired with brand new facilities met the needs our family was searching for to care for our mother. Mom has been a resident at Sage Oaks since July. Since then, she has developed relationships with both staff and residents which has helped her settle in and make Sage Oak feel like home. The staff knows my mom on a personal level and cares well for her medical needs. They have taken time to get to know me and my brother and our families on a personal basis. Families are always welcomed with open arms. The staff, from the house caregivers to the owner, are always available to listen and support our family in various positive ways. Both of our families work full time, so having Mom at Sage Oak (Denton) allows both my brother and I to visit often or get to the facility quickly when Mom has immediate needs. From our homes in Northlake and Flower Mound, we are just 20 minutes away which is practical, convenient, and comforting. Sage Oak does a great job of balancing needs/entertainment/amenities where it does not drive up unnecessary costs for its residents while the facilities and events that are offered are still top-notch. If you are looking for a smaller, more personal, feel place with quality care for your family member, Sage Oak is a hidden gem.

Sage oak has been a lifesaver. It is absolutely a gorgeous facility and they have employees that are very loving people. They genuinely care and love the residents. The facility is spotless and they have excellent nurses and aides. They provide entertainment for the residents and their families. The food is excellent!! My grandma had lost an unhealthy amount of weight in her previous facility and when she got to save oak she is now thriving. And to top all of that off they genuinely care about the families. I personally love sage oak.

Wonderful place for your beloved family members! This place is nicer than a 5 star resort and the professional chefs make 3 meals a day (plus snacks) right there in front of the residents. Think hibachi restaurant, like that. Private bathrooms for every resident and the staff is trained for anything you throw at them! Executive management is top notch and make every family feel like a VIP. The entertainment staff is always putting together fun activities, and not just bingo, I’m talking themed parties and mentally stimulating activities. 100% worth every penny.

We moved our 91 year old mother from Anthology in Denton to Sage Oaks, and can not be happier. The help and care has been amazing! They do what they promise. The staff is carrying and kind. They check on our mother regularly and engage her in activities. Their responses are wonderful! They have a great chef! There is no comparison to the last assisted living that she had lived. Unfortunately we have worked on helping a friend move into Assisted Living. From the front door greeting, to leaving and being walked out. The staff is fantastic, the layout is great. As a new facility, they obviously put there residents first. I’ve personally been in 2 Rehabs and I would recommend Sage Oak.

This place is amazing! From the first moment they made us feel like family. The facilities are amazing and so is the staff. They make everything so easy for a difficult time. My 80 year old mother was released from the hospital and skilled nursing with the recommendation that she move into an assisted living facility. I had visited many assisted living/ home health cares and it was not a good experience. Sage Oaks in Denton was the complete opposite. The facility is clean and bright and felt like a home. There are plenty of opportunities to remain active, both mentally and physically. Mom was also made more comfortable by having her own furniture. All of this made for a nice experience, however, the real difference-maker is the staff and management. The Owner (Loe Hornbuckle), the Nurse Liaison (Erin Caston) and the nursing care could not have been more caring or accommodating. The facility is small enough that everybody receives the personal touch. For instance, when mom said she loved horses they made room for all her horse books in the library room. They greeted her with flowers and gifts and remembered the details, from wanting a caddy for the shower to spoiling her dog with treats. I have no hesitation in recommending Sage Oaks of Denton to anybody.

I highly recommend Sage Oak. I love the smaller, more intimate assisted living setting. No more worrying if grandma is wondering the long hallways of the traditional nursing home or if she’s even came out of her room this week. Plus the staff & amenities are amazing!

We placed my mom here for memory care. We visited two other facilities similar to Sage Oak, but there was no comparison. Sage Oak has been a blessing…from day one! Christina, Loe and Felicia were extremely helpful in answering questions about ALF, memory care in general as well as questions about Sage Oak. We are always greeted with a smile and a “how are you” when we visit my mom. We are kept up to date with photos and texts or calls. The staff even knows when my mom seems different or out of her normal mood and they notify and adjust accordingly! They keep my mom engaged and social instead of being isolated and lonely. I love how JJ (the activity director) knows my mom and what she likes to do! JJ even makes sure to ask if I have any questions or concerns! Lastly, the chefs and meals are amazing! My mom was barely eating prior to coming to Sage Oak. Now she eats her meals and looks forward to the mealtime. She has even gained weight (which both of her specialty doctors were very excited with). Caring for a loved one is stressful. Sage Oak has certainly relieved a lot of our anxiety!

We have an Aunt that now lives in the memory care part of Sage Oak! It is incredibly immaculate and has a welcoming home feeling. Therefore, we inquired about our 85 year old father who may be needing assisted living arrangements in the near future. We made a phone appointment with Loe and he spent a good 15 -20 minutes just listening to our thoughts and answering our questions. He also offered to send us some other websites and contacts that can help us with this decision. I did not feel pressured or was given a sales pitch. It was a great conversation that showed that Loe and the Sage Oak facility really cared about our family and what we were having to face in the near future with my father. Thank you for taking the time to share you knowledge and information during this time of uncertainty.

From the moment we went to tour we had the red carpet rolled out for us. We have had nothing shy of excellence from the staff at Sage Oak. My daddy was in a nursing home which had neglected his needs and care for far too long. We needed to move him on an emergency base’s and Christina, Jaycie and the staff made this possible. From getting hospice items delivered to prepping his within a day we were amazed. On arrival they took matters into their hands. All hands were on deck as they made my dad as comfortable as possible. My dad has ate every meal (because it is amazing flavorful 5 star food) and is now getting his meds as intended every time and on time! They have altered my dad’s behaviors within a week of being there. We are so grateful for all the staff, they really have something special there. I am so happy to know he’s loved and cared for like he deserves. Getting our daily updates from the nurses text line is so awesome also. We can sleep at night knowing he’s in the best hands. Dementia is a horrible disease and the staff at Sage Oak have made it easier for us all!!! Thank you guys so much!

We decided on Sage Oak Memory Care for dad after his stroke. We visited several others in town but Sage was so real, so helpful and so enthusiastic- and it is true. Dad loves the directors, nurses, aides and of course the other residents – but he really loves the FOOD and overall cleanliness and order in his day. His room is excellent, very comfy and manageable for him. Quintin and his team provide outstanding services, and are always available to answer questions.

Sage Oak of Denton was a God send to our family to place my brother. We had two awful experiences at other memory care facilities as my brother fell deeper into the pits of dementia. Sage Oak from the beginning treated my brother with acceptance, patience, respect and dignity. They learned his likes (extra food) and dislikes, and his triggers. This was extremely hard since my brother also suffered from primary progressive aphasia. The family was always welcomed and acknowledged. The morning after my brother passed, we had been with him all the previous day and that night, we were offered breakfast. The compassion shown by all the staff in my brother’s last days was unbelievable. I will always be thankful to Sage Oak of Denton for how they treated and loved my brother.

When our family member began indicating that he would benefit from memory care/assisted living we toured many many places to find the best fit for him. They all offer different care perspectives and hosted varying activities for the residents. Most places looked and felt very similar overall. We were struggling with choosing from the underwelming options that were available. That was until we went to our final tour at Sage Oak. Sage Oak offered a completely different model of memory care. They offer a home setting with private bedrooms. Residents walk in the front door of a brightly lit home. You immediately notice the uplifting energy of the home. There are two levels of memory care at Sage Oak and as a result we finally felt our family member could happily fit with others who are active and social but need memory care. We feel blessed that everyone on staff is involved in making sure our loved one feels safe and comfortable in his new setting. They don’t just care for his physical well-being but they take an interest in his emotional well-being too. Their efforts are exceptional. This is a great team of professionals that feel like family from day one.

We visited Sage Oak looking for a better place for our Mom. We came upon this gem. They have several small houses, depending on the level of care your loved one needs. They are beautifully decorated and very homey feeling. The attendants were very caring to the residents and all very sweet by nature. They actually engaged with the residents, which was something we we not getting. The food is on a whole other level, prepared by a chef. The residents can actually sit with the chef while he prepares the meals, as if sitting in your moms kitchen talking to her while she cooks. The weekly menu was amazing, not bland or boring. We were thoroughly impressed by Sage Oak. If you are looking for the best place for your loved one with Alzyheimers or Dementia, I encourage you to take a look at Sage Oak. You will not be disappointed.

Sage oak is an amazing facility, my mom was in another facility and she lost tons of weight and was mentally tormented more then just the usual dimentia we moved her to sage oak. She gained back the weight and absolutely 100 % loves the workers at sage oak and the food is amazing. Chef Larry serves amazing food. sage oak gives me peace of mind knowing that they love my mother and provides such amazing care. The facility is spotless they clean all the time. This is one awesome facility and I HIGHLY recommend sage oak for your loved ones.

After visiting several memory care facilities in Denton there was no doubt that Sage Oak was our number 1 choice! The layout was so much better – short hallways and not a maze to get through. Open kitchen, dining and living areas are so accessible to the residents. Caregivers around the clock are so very attentive. They seem to really care about each resident. Sage Oak is very clean – no bad lingering smells ever encountered. With a chef on staff, the meals are tasty and beautifully presented on a plate as if the resident were dining in exclusive restaurant. I appreciate the care and concern for my loved one.

From moment I walked in house I knew it was HOME. The facility is beautiful but the care is why I would urge you to move there. Mother moved there from independently living. I say that loosely because she had 3 “companions” daily sitting with her. I devoted myself to Mothers care for 13 years as dementia took over our lives. I recall vividly my daddy telling me from his death bed not to forget to live my life also. I didn’t realize I had forgotten to live. Thanks to the beyond excellent care Mother has a Sage Oak, my husband and I purchased a RV and can travel with peace knowing Mother is in the best of hands. My husband has been in memory care at Sage Oak since the first of December. He has gotten such good care. We are so thankful to have found Sage Oak. They go out of their way to help and care for my husband. They are so good to talk to me about every detail.

Loe Hornbuckle with Sage Oak provided objective, educational and wise counsel for my unique need of temporary assisted living quarters, only two months which they can provide. Rather than trying to make a sale, he explained the most cost effective and least disruptive course of action in my case would first be to obtain extended Insurance coverage at my present location, Denton Rehab, then see if Denton Rehab would allow me to pay on my own if extended insurance was denied. Thank you Loe!

My Dad was there for 10 months. We researched other facilities before deciding on Sage Oaks. Sage Oaks was unbelievable to my dad and my family. They are a 5 star facility on a scale of 1-5. Would Highly Recommend them & again so grateful my dad was well taken care of!!

My uncle lived at Sage Oak for his last 18 months, and I could not have asked for a more loving and compassionate home. His sisters appreciated that the staff welcomed them with enormous hugs, the aroma of a home-cooked meal, and a happy brother during every visit. Convenient to my home and work, Sage Oak was so easy to park, pop in, and go about my day. My kids liked visiting him at a house, not a “hospital.” One of the reasons we chose Sage Oak was so that he could maintain autonomy when walking from his room to meals and the living areas rather than being forced prematurely into a wheelchair and rushed down long hallways or expected to self-propel. He had a long string of friends who visited him at Sage Oak. Everyone was excited to find him well cared for and dressed in his regular clothes. Sage Oak did a phenomenal job keeping his laundry separate and maintaining his dignity and individuality throughout his end-of-life journey.

My brother in- law was a resident at Sage Oak in Denton for a short period of time. He was well taken care of and appreciated the clean environment. The staff was very friendly and responsive!

My husband was a resident at Sage Oak of Denton for a year, and he was very happy and made friends there. The facility is clean and bright, with a very workable floorplan. We were very impressed with the dedication of both management and staff to provide good care and to enhance the residents’ quality of life. They are not just going through the motions – they genuinely care about their residents. The food was outstanding, and the chef worked with my husband to accommodate his tastes and dental issues. Management was very understanding, reasonable, and a pleasure to work with, and always with my husband’s best interest at heart. Sage Oak is a very special place, and we were disappointed that my husband had to leave to receive a higher level of care. We highly recommend Sage Oak of Denton.

I absolutely adore the staff at Sage Oaks. Jaycee and Avery do such an incredible job with the residents and it genuinely makes our visits such a joy. The volunteers and I at Trio Hospice always love coming out to spend time with everyone and help wherever we can. 💕

As a volunteer of Trio Hospice I found Sage Oaks to be an amazing facility. They truly care for the residents and take the time to get to know them. Jaycee and Avery in particular plan lovely activities to ensure the residents stay active. I recommend!

I went to Sage Oak in Denton today and toured With Mitchell. It was a fantastic tour and the staff there was engaging, professional, and friendly. I noticed when we n one of the buildings there was an aide just hugging a resident who was moaning in discomfort. As the aide hugged her and soothed her she began to calm down. I could feel the love that exuded from these caregivers. All I could think was “who wouldn’t want their loved one to live here”. Fantastic facility.

My team and I met with Mitchell to form a partnership. This facility is absolutely beautiful and unlike any assisted living community I’ve visited. This community is thoughtfully designed with subtle touches that create a warm, homely atmosphere while meeting the practical needs of residents requiring adaptive equipment. The staff is inviting and professional. The meal served is reminiscent of country club dining. Would definitely recommend to all of my clients in this area.

As a home health physical therapist, I go to a lot of assisted living facilities of all varieties, and I have seen just about everything. I love to go to Sage Oak of Denton where their unique design feels like a well-run home that is both classy and comfortable. The friendliness and helpfulness of their staff is unmatched. I am always greeted warmly, and it is evident that each caregiver knows my patients and their particular needs. There always seems to be a caregiver nearby who is willing to help, as opposed to many other places where it’s hard to even find someone.

The staff at Sage Oak were so helpful as we had to make a decision about where to find the living facilities and care my mom needed. Beautiful facility and very knowledgeable staff. We had to leave mom closer to home for now, but we will back to Sage Oak for sure if she elects to make the move to Denton.

I recently took a tour of a Sage Oak Dallas Home and the Sage Oak Denton Community. I have been in this industry for over a decade and I have to say that Sage Oak has set the standard for how an Assisted Living should be established. The concept they have created is nothing short of phenomenal. I think every senior home needs to be based off the Sage Oak Denton Community. Every need and detail have been addressed for every stage of their aging lives and memory care. I just lost my Memaw, who practically raised me, to Alzheimer’s a month ago and I wish she would have had this option. I also cannot say enough great things about Seth and Christina, the Executive Directors and the other various staff members I met along the tour. They have a true passion for what they do, which is not often seen these days. I can tell they are dedicated and loyal to their individual mission. Each showed personal consideration for each resident and it was seen that there were true bonds that were formed between the personnel and residents. I will be marketing for Sage Oak as I’m out marketing in my own territory for my job. That’s how much I believe in this concept. Been in the medical field for awhile now and have seen many facilities throughout the DFW area. This being said, would certainly recommend Sage Oak to anyone looking for a place. Each home is designed to perfection, no details missed, and maxes out residents at 16 per home. Even the simple concept making the common space the heart of the home, is not seen in any other place I’ve experienced. Mealtimes are essential and you can tell that they take great pride in making sure their residents are well nourished. The kitchen and chef are located in each home- so the residents are able to participate, make requests, and the food is served fresh instead of behind the scenes. Loe and the rest of the administrative staff pour their hearts into their work and know each resident AND their families on a personal level. Walking into each home there are multiple staff members present and engaged with the residents, which again seems silly/small thing to say out loud, but honestly, isn’t common. It was one of the most refreshing experiences as it can be easy to look past something as small as that as most would expect it would be a standard of all care facilities. I could go on and on about the above and beyond design and concept details that puts Sage Oak in a category all of their own! Certainly one of a kind.

Loe & Christina always go above and beyond what is expected! Their work and dedication in the world of senior living are outstanding. Words can’t adequately express how thankful I am for the help they provided to a family I was working with who needed guidance today. A meeting set to last about 20 minutes turned into 2-1/2 hours. Nothing else mattered except the people in front of them who were desperately seeking help for their loved one. Loe and Christina’s knowledge and ability to identify problems are spot on! Their words of encouragement and guidance helped put a family in a space that gave them hope. They made the family feel empowered and gave them confidence to move in the best direction to get the help they need. I admire this pair more than they’ll ever know! I so appreciate Loe and Christina always going the extra mile!!

As an EMT, we go to a lot of facilities. And a lot of them are not the best. However, we were completely blown away by this facility and its staff. Absolutely worth more than the five stars I am able to give!

Safety and security is consider in every inch of this home, the natural light can be felt in every room. When it comes to Alzheimer’s patients the builder consider the disease process in the building details. 5 star chief prepared meals served restaurant style. No plastic containers. As a nurse the visibility from the nursing station is impeccable.

The boutique-style and concierge approach to senior living that Sage Oak designed is fabulous! Each detail for the individual homes on the campus has been well-contemplated and planned for the comfort and safety of the residents. Many times families are mostly concerned about the safety and care, but the residents themselves care about the FOOD! 🙂 I was able to try all the delicious food prepared by the Executive Chef for the Grand Opening. Everything was incredible! The residents will definitely be pleased!

I attended the grand opening of Sage Oak of Denton on 6/3/22. It is a very impressive place! The facility is beautiful and very well-conceived for its purpose. The most intriguing part of the tour was the integration of technology. This technology will certainly help with investigation of any falls or other issues, but it also has the potential for research into improving care and safety of the geriatric population. I could certainly envision research into safer flooring to minimize the impact of a fall, or ways to improve resident care and activities in the buildings. I look forward to working in cooperation with this facility in caring for their residents, as well as looking to the future to assist in the care of all geriatric residents!

The facilities at Sage Oak are incomparable. No detail has been overlooked to make the individual homes welcoming, safe and user friendly for the residents. From the airy, light entrance foyers to the short hallways, from arms with sturdy armrests and high seats for easy rising to the nurses’ station with visibility of all the public areas, the homes are ideally suited for senior living. Perhaps my favorite detail is the open kitchen plan in each home that invites the residents to chat with the chef and make meal preparation an event each day. CEO Loe Hornbuckle gave us an excellent tour. He is extremely knowledgeable about senior care and answered all of our questions thoroughly and patiently. I highly recommend Sage Oak of Denton to anyone looking for a home for her senior loved one in the Denton area.

Sage Oak of Denton is a collection beautifully and designed assisted living homes with care and comfort perfectly balanced. The open house was a wonderful group of companies and individuals with similar interests in the assisted care industry; all in one place. The food was incredible, but more incredible is that the Sage Oak staff prepared it all!!

In addition to an award-winning design, they’ve managed to blend the best parts of larger assisted living communities and their amenities with the best parts of smaller ALs and their higher caregiver to resident ratio.
